CLINICAL TEST OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the efficacy of this cosmetic product in improving signs of skin aging. To assess this objective, a clinical-instrumental study was conducted on 30 healthy women (ages 29-67) who showed signs of skin aging.
Instrumental independent clinical test results at 8 weeks:

Instrumental analysis is integrated by clinical evaluation performed by the dermatologist (skin tolerability, reduction of global aging signs, and optical blur/diffuse effect) and self-assessment performed by the volunteers.
The lifting/remodelling effect on the facial contour is measured using a morphometric image analysis technique.
The tensioning/remodelling effect on the facial contour is assessed through morphometric image analysis performed on photographic images.
The intensity of melanin within the brown spot is measured using a CM-700D spectrophotometer/colorimeter. L* and b* values are taken, characterizing melanin staining.
The surface area of brown spots is measured using an image analysis technique. The technique used is segmentation, which allows the thresholding of information related to brown spots.
Skin elasticity measurement is based on the suction method, which uses negative pressure to mechanically deform the skin (CutometerÆ method).
The skin surface is quantitatively evaluated using Primos 3D. Primos 3D is a contactless in vivo skin measurement device based on structured light projection. Together with comprehensive 3D evaluation and measurement software, the sensor allows evaluation of the properties of the skin surface (i.e., wrinkle depth, volume, roughness, etc.).
Skin glow (or skin shine) is the skin's ability to reflect light and is measured using the gloss parameter (taken with the CM-700D spectrophotometer/colorimeter (Konica Minolta).
