Clinical Results

To determine the anti-aging efficacy of a cosmetic product, on a minimum of 30 volunteers (40-65 years old), using the product for 56 days, in normal conditions, applying it twice a day.

Barrier function efficacy: by measuring the skin's water evaporation density gradient with the Tewameter® TM 300 probe.

Moisturising efficacy: measuring the distribution of moisture near the surface and the microtopography of the skin with MoistureMap MM 100.

Depigmenting efficacy: by measuring the light reflected by the skin, using the Mexameter® MX 18 probe.

Anti-wrinkle efficacy: measuring the skin topography with AEVA3D-HE2 VisioHOP.

Colorimetric image analysis: measuring the difference between lightness/darkness with VisioFace® 1000D.

As visual support, facial photographs of the participants are taken with AEVA3D-HE2 VisioHOP and VisioFace® 1000D.

Additionally, to measure the subjective efficacy and tolerability of the products, volunteers participating in the trial completed a subjective questionnaire at the end of the trial.

The tolerability and safety of the products was also monitored by recording possible symptoms and undesirable signs that might appear due to continued use of the products, which were dermatologically assessed at the end of the trial.
